The association comprises of Indian pharmaceutical association (IPA), Indian Hospital Pharmacists Association (IHPA), Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India ( APTI), Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association (IPGA), and All India Drugs Control Officers Confederation (AIDCOC).

Mind bogging is to conceive that over twenty-five thousand professionals from different streams aligned to Pharmacy constitute IPC.  The total strength of all the five federating bodies is more than.  Without a doubt, IPC is one of the largest and active Scientific Community in our country. Interesting to recall the fact that IPC first met at Calcutta way back in 1948. Ever since, year after year the body met to deliberate and that’s how we are a formidable association today. IPC encouraged participation by roping in stalwarts in respective forums and addresses by eloquent knowledgeable doyens. The deliberations resulted in top up to academic learning. It even made regulatory bodies update requirements as need of the day.
